Timothy Wilson’s One Day Workshop

A comprehensive Plein Air workshop & Farm to Table catered event

Throughout the course of the day, attendees will view a full demo and have a chance to wander and paint on location throughout the premises of the farm. Timothy (me) will be guiding you through the entire process of how to make a comprehensive plein air oil study: from setup, to thumbnails, sketch, and finish. The morning will be spent on demo and attendees creating their own initial sketch and thumbnails, followed by the one hour catered lunch made from veggies grown at the farm. The afternoon will be spent composing and exploring, with Timothy giving individual instruction about process, technique and materials. We will culminate with a group critique of the work; one of the most important ways to learn is to be able to describe, reflect and see what others have done and what might help you further in your own pursuits!

We will have access to the main barn for the duration of the workshop, and if any individuals so desire, I will be staying to paint the sunset and welcome any and all to participate! A full workshop materials list and prep sheet will be emailed to you once sign up is confirmed.
