Holiday Wreath Making

Join us to learn the art of crafting evergreen wreaths using sustainably harvested materials from the bountiful Maine woods, led by farmer and experienced wreath maker, Bo Dennis, from Dandy Ram Farm. Our workshop commences with a brief introduction to the sustainable practices of evergreen harvesting. Following this, you’ll enjoy a hands-on experience as we guide you through the process of creating both single and double-sided wreaths.

By the end of the workshop, each participant will depart with a 22” diameter wreath of their own design, complete with all necessary materials, including berries and dried florals for personalized embellishments.

The workshop will take place at The Hive, an enchanting event barn at Dandelion Spring Farm. Enjoy the rustic charm of the timber frame and the gentle glow of twinkly lights, all while savoring cider and immersing yourself in the scent of evergreen. Rest assured, this space is comfortably heated. Additionally, Dandelion Spring Farm will have a selection of wine, cider, and snacks available for purchase, ensuring a truly enjoyable experience.

5pm – Meet & intro to Maine’s evergreens and winter flora with a light walk

5:30 – Wreath making demo

6 -7:30 – Participants make their wreaths out of materials provided in the barn
