Forsythia Tea Project: Tea + Cheese Workshop
Spend an afternoon at Dandelion Spring Farm in their beautiful new barn learning about tea and its ability to pair with food.
It’s hard to believe one plant can produce hundreds if not thousands of permutations of taste and appearance. In this workshop, we will cover the basics of tea production and tea styles, taste a few exemplary teas (in handmade vessels!), and pair those teas with a couple favorite cheeses from the Cheese Shop of Portland. I expect the workshop to be about an hour, leaving room for those who wish to drink a little more tea, relax in the space, etc. to do so.
The workshop will be led by Nathan Finberg, a cheesemongering ceramicist (@nf__ceramics) and student of all things terroir-driven, as part of an ongoing and ever-evolving tea project called Forsythia.
