There are no prescribed movements. Come as you are, who you are. Simply, we are a collective who are conscious about moving deeper within ourselves and our community.

In this once a week dance series, we will inquire, move as and dance our nature. Each week has a practice that builds on the previous week, but is still accessible for drop in classes. Sign up for all or one! We are gathering to celebrate spring!

Week 1: Grounding and centering

Week 2: Receiving one another

Week 3: Offering ourselves

Week 4: Moving just beyond our edge

Through somatic inquiry and embodiment practices, we will find our way into an embodied state where stillness and motion come together – creating nourishment, aliveness, and a felt sense of our connection with ourselves, each other, and the space that we move within.

Dev has been working therapeutically and facilitating rites of passages for two decades. Dev is the founder and executive director of HoneyRoot, an organization devoted to Somatic Education in service of Embodiment, Relationships, Social Justice and Intergenerational Community. She received an ordination from the IM School of Healing Arts in 2004 and received her masters degree in Somatic Psychology in 2007. She is a Certified Hakomi Therapist and has extensive training in a variety of body-oriented healing modalities, including Somatic Experiencing, a trauma resolution therapy, and Biodynamic Cranio-Sacral Therapy, a gentle hands-on alignment of the body’s subtle inner rhythms. At essence, Dev is a dancer. She is a certified Soul Motionâ„¢ teacher and offers movement ministry (with her child) throughout the world.

No experience necessary, just a desire to feel your nature expressing itself. All are welcome!

Arrive at 5:45. Wear what is comfortable to move in. The Hive is a fully heated, warm space. Layers are great as you warm up. Participants generally go barefoot, though you are welcome to wear indoor shoes, and please bring a water bottle.
